The webinar was designed to provide practical knowledge and demonstrate how the transition to zero-emission heavy-duty transport can become a viable business opportunity. Participants were introduced to the key aspects of developing charging infrastructure for electric trucks, available financing mechanisms supporting both vehicle and infrastructure investments, and practical considerations related to fleet electrification.
A significant part of the session focused on sharing know-how helping carriers better understand the technical, financial and operational challenges associated with the transition to electric heavy-duty vehicles.
The webinar also served as an invitation for transport operators to become actively involved in the LIFeHDV project. By participating, companies will have the opportunity to gain first-hand experience, exchange knowledge with project partners and contribute to shaping practical solutions that support the wider deployment of zero-emission heavy-duty transport. We believe that the project will become an additional catalyst, giving carriers greater confidence to accelerate the electrification of their fleets.
We would like to thank ZMPD for the excellent cooperation and all participants for their active engagement and valuable discussion. Together, we are building the foundations for the next generation of sustainable freight transport.
