This is where the LIFeHDV project continues its work.
On 23–25 September 2026, LIFeHDV will bring the discussion to the New Mobility Congress 2026 (KNM 2026) in Katowice, one of the leading new mobility events in Central and Eastern Europe. As a Content Partner of the Congress, the project will contribute to a dedicated series of discussions focused on the challenges that will determine the pace of eHDV deployment in Poland and across Europe.
The programme will look at the transition from several perspectives – from European market development and public funding to charging infrastructure, logistics, warehouse operations and, ultimately, the business case for transport operators.
The LIFeHDV-related agenda will include:
- Electric heavy-duty transport at scale – how Europe is accelerating the transformation of freight transport (keynote speech)
- From financial ambition to market readiness: PLN 6 billion available, yet zero-emission heavy-duty transport has not taken off
- Logistics: How sustainable will the future of deliveries be?
- Priority routes for eHDVs – where will new charging hubs be developed? Powered by LIFeHDV
- Poland as Europe’s warehouse hub: Can the warehouse sector drive demand for eHDVs?
- eHDVs from the carrier’s perspective: When does an electric truck start to pay off?
- PSNM Logistics and Transport Committee
Together, these sessions will address a fundamental question for the next stage of the market: what needs to happen for electric heavy-duty transport to move from individual deployments to scale?
For LIFeHDV, KNM 2026 is a natural continuation of the project’s activities. It creates a space to confront the project’s work with the experience of transport operators, infrastructure providers, logistics companies, policymakers and other market stakeholders – and to translate these perspectives into practical conclusions for the further development of the eHDV ecosystem.
It is also an opportunity to broaden the conversation beyond charging infrastructure itself. Successful electrification of road freight will depend on how charging hubs interact with transport corridors, logistics centres and warehouses, how support schemes respond to actual market needs, and whether electric trucks can deliver a viable business case for the companies operating them every day.
