On 6 June 2025, a webinar dedicated to the newly announced support program for the purchase of zero-emission heavy-duty vehicles in the N2 and N3 categories took place. The online meeting brought together representatives of the transport sector and other market stakeholders interested in the new funding scheme and its potential impact on the electrification of freight transport in Poland.
During the webinar, the key assumptions of the program were presented by Piotr Stępiński, Director of the Electromobility Department at NFOŚiGW. His presentation focused on the rules of the scheme, the eligibility criteria for applicants, and the financial mechanisms designed to support the deployment of zero-emission trucks. Participants also had the opportunity to ask questions both during the session and through the registration form submitted prior to the event.

PSNM experts also contributed to the discussion. Piotr Ziółkowski provided additional market context and highlighted the importance of the new instrument for accelerating the transition of the heavy-duty transport sector. Marek Popiołek, formerly associated with MKiŚ and responsible for the design and implementation of electromobility support programs, shared insights into the policy background and practical aspects of implementing such schemes.
The webinar provided a valuable platform for clarifying the program’s framework and addressing questions from companies planning investments in zero-emission heavy-duty vehicles. Initiatives such as this play an important role in supporting market readiness and facilitating the effective use of public funding aimed at decarbonizing freight transport.
