On 19 March 2025, an online webinar was held to explore the available support programmes dedicated to the electrification of heavy-duty transport. The event focused on public financing instruments and practical solutions designed to accelerate the transition of the heavy transport sector towards zero-emission technologies.

Piotr Stępiński, Director of the Department for Heavy-Duty Electric Transport at the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFOŚiGW), presented the structure of the current support schemes and outlined the funding opportunities available for market participants. His presentation clarified the objectives of the programmes, eligibility requirements and the financial mechanisms aimed at supporting both vehicle deployment and charging infrastructure development.
Maciej Mazur, CEO of the New Mobility Association (PSNM), provided a comprehensive overview of the available support instruments, highlighting the most important aspects of the schemes from the perspective of transport operators and infrastructure investors. The discussion addressed key regulatory and financial considerations essential for scaling up zero-emission heavy-duty transport in Poland.
The webinar gathered a broad range of stakeholders, including representatives of vehicle manufacturers, transport operators, charging infrastructure providers and charging service operators. The strong interest confirmed the growing market readiness to engage in heavy-duty fleet electrification, provided that stable and well-structured support mechanisms remain in place.
The activities presented during the webinar are aligned with the objectives of the LIFeHDV project, which aims to support the popularisation and development of the zero-emission heavy-duty vehicle market and charging infrastructure in Central and Eastern Europe.
