The official launch of activities under the LIFeHDV project took place during the LIFE Programme Beneficiaries Meeting in Brussels, where representatives of newly selected projects gathered to mark the beginning of implementation and exchange first experiences.
During the meeting, Aleksander Rajch and Piotr Ziółkowski presented the core objectives and planned activities of LIFeHDV. The project is implemented in cooperation with GreenWay Polska and Ennovation Technology and aims to accelerate the deployment of charging infrastructure for electric heavy-duty vehicles in Poland and across the Central and Eastern European region.

The Brussels meeting provided an important opportunity to align with other LIFE beneficiaries, clarify implementation frameworks and discuss the expectations of the European Commission regarding impact, scalability and long-term sustainability. It also marked the formal start of coordinated actions focused on developing dedicated charging hubs for eHDVs, building market know-how and supporting stakeholders in the transition towards zero-emission heavy transport.
LIFeHDV will combine infrastructure deployment with analytical, technical and regulatory work designed to remove barriers to electrification and create replicable models for the CEE region. Cooperation with fellow beneficiaries strengthens the project’s European dimension and ensures that best practices and lessons learned are shared from the outset.

Further updates on project milestones and upcoming activities will be shared in the coming months as implementation progresses.
